There's one thing I've learned after being an affiliate marketer for a few years online. You absolutely need to deal with every marketing campaign as if you are endorsing your own product.

That is, truly, what sets profitable affiliates apart from those grinding to produce a few extra dollars in commissions. You see, while there are literally hundreds of thousands of affiliates on the internet, how many of them do you know? How many have left an impression, created a brand and a name that is directly recognizable by everyone getting into the industry?

Yes, it's true that you can arrange your own schedules, work as much or as little as you want to, granting that your bottom line will suffer if you're not dedicated to the process, eventually, all of the work you put into generating commissions from affiliate products will feel as though you are lending your time to someone else.

But here's the thing: If you work to combine a 'brandable system' with your affiliate campaigns, where you are able to focus on establishing YOUR brand while exploiting the chance to make money with other people's products, not only can you generate immediate income without having to produce your own product line, but when it IS time for you to go out on your own, you will have the name, the support, the know-how and the resources in place to succeed.

Think of affiliate marketing as an 'earn as you learn' experience. You are trading the chance to learn the ropes, to build a brand, to acquire a reputation and a following, at the same time you are getting paid to do so in the way of commissions from each product you sell.
